But what types of activities are out there and which types will develop those soft skills, making you useful to a future boss? Not all schools will offer formal clubs in all these categories. If you see something, you’re interested in that your school doesn’t offer, try joining a community group or even a general or an online group to explore the interest further! Many of these topics are available at summer camp activities, as well. You can also consider starting a club at your school if you are looking for a way to get involved in something you are interested in while also showing leadership and initiative.
Real success is much more than having a lot of wealth and fame. Enjoying the work, you do is, in some ways, more important than having a large bank account. And above, if you enjoy the work you do, there’s a greater chance you will do great work and get paid accordingly.
