“Your beliefs affect your choices. Your choices shape your actions. Your actions determine your results. The future you create depends upon the choices you make and the actions you take today. Your life is a result of the choices you make if you don’t like your life it is time to start making better choices.”
What matters is to live in the present, live now, for every moment is now. It is your thoughts and acts of the moment that create your future. The outline of your future path already exists, for you created its pattern by your past.-sai Baba
The Bhagavad Gita is the core of the Vedas and Upanishads. It is a universal scripture applicable to people of all characters, at all times. It is a book with inspiring thoughts and everyday teachings on Yoga, Devotion, Vedanta and Action. The Bhagavad Gita has influenced many great thinkers over the years.
Anyone with a material body cannot remember his past life, nor can he foretell his future life, nor can he predict the outcome of his present life; therefore he cannot know what is happening in the past, present and future. Unless one is liberated from material contamination, he cannot understand the past, present and future. I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is going on in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; no one but me knows. – Lord Krishna says to Arjun in the Bhagavad Gita.
The term clairvoyance is used to refer to the ability to gain information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than the known senses, i.e., a form of extrasensory perception. A person said to have the ability of clairvoyance is referred to as a clairvoyant (“one who sees clearly”).
Priests / Guru are a Self-realized clairvoyant established in the Truth-consciousness-Bliss Personified Supreme self and had guided many aspirants towards the same. His life is a source of divine inspiration for all living beings on earth. His each and every action is directed towards the welfare of the entire creation. His discourses would please the minds, the clouds of distress would get dispersed, and the depressed personalities get charged with zeal, and with the confusions of the confused ones being solved, a new life would possess them. His complete life is in a way a junction of the Yoga of Karma (action), awareness, and devotion. He is a gifted yogi having marvellous powers.
The law of karma explains many mysteries of life. Why is a person born with a silver spoon in his mouth while another under sad circumstances? Why should two individuals born to the same parents and nurtured under identical conditions shape so differently in life? Why should two identical twins possess different natures? It is because the different souls in the various bodies have to reap the fruits of actions performed by them at present and also in previous lives. There is no escape from that. There is nothing, which happens by chance. Fortune is, no matter of chance. It is a question of choice. It is not a thing to be delayed for; it is a thing to be achieved. The orderly way in which the vast universe is run cannot simply be a matter of chance or independent happenings. The Supreme Soul is the great co-coordinator and judge who oversee overall happenings in this world and beyond.
The past and the present can be seen with a high level of perfection. The future is in a constant state of connection, meaning it develops gradually. It is not fixed. Countless times we have heard, if it’s supposed to be then, you should be able to tell me what will happen. Some people believe that everything is predestined. Some things in life are destined, like our place of birth, parents and family and the conditions we are born into. These conditions create the forces behind our behaviour, actions, decisions and are meant to work out the lessons particular to a soul’s growth to be attained during the lifetime. Think of it like this. In lives past, you created certain imbalances that have to be corrected in this life. This is a karmic debt. We all have karma, good and bad. With this in mind, you should live life with the idea that what you create in this life will balance out at a future point. Depending on many factors, this process could happen in this life or the next one. But if you created a discrepancy in a particular area of your life, it must be remedied.
The Gurbani thus reminds us that man is not the creature of his circumstances. Through self-efforts of Understanding, He can change his activities if he wants to. Thereby, he can modify the results of his actions if he wants to. We are given this life (opportunity) to rebel against the wrong. Through the self-efforts of understanding, once we become linked to our source within, the source from within will prevent our mind from doing any wrong. All of us in this human form is given the offer to end the repeated pains, troubles, and doubts arising out of our mental misunderstanding.
“The future turns out to be something that you make instead of find. It isn’t waiting for your arrival, either with an arrest warrant or a band nor is it any further away than the next sentence, the next best guess, the next sketch for the painting of a life portrait that might become a masterpiece. The future is an empty canvas or a blank sheet of paper, and if you have the courage of your thought and your observation, you can make of it what you will.”-
“Strange is our situation here on this earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose.” – Albert Einstein
