“When there are thoughts, it is the distraction: when there are no thoughts, it is meditation.”
“Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits.”
In spiritual awakenings, the past and the future become much less important, and the present becomes correspondingly more important. Awakened individuals spend much less time remembering past experiences or thinking over past events, just as they spend less time looking forward to the future, daydreaming about future events or focusing on future goals. Instead, they focus on their present experience, on the surroundings they’re in, the people they’re with, and the feelings and impressions they’re having. “Success is not the key to happiness, happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
In spiritual awakenings, the individuals are generally much more content than other people. One major source of this well-being is freedom from the emotional disharmony that plagues human beings in our sleep state — habitual worry about the future, feelings of negativity about the past, and a general sense of unease. Spiritually awakened people are much less prone to negative states such as boredom, loneliness, and dissatisfaction. The atmosphere of their inner world is less charged with negativity and much more harmonious.
We seem to grope in darkness at broad sunlight. Each one has to purify his mind, cleansing the path of perception and discovering for himself the divine spirit indwelling, embodied in them i.e. the presence of the immortal in the mortal- the one sun shining within all of us- the essential unity of all creation in blissful awareness.
Truth is beyond the boundaries of religion. The Supreme Being –Almighty does not belong to any/ particular religion. Spiritual pursuit is to raise beyond all mind oriented separation that put us apart from one another and strive to expand the individual. Consciousness to the cosmic consciousness. Even great intellectual, men of understanding unknowingly follow and form small groups and circles in the name of their Guru, spiritual mentor and become sectarian. This tendency, habit, attitude defeats the very purpose of expanding our vision and damage, dilutes the effort of the spiritual fabric of our spiritual motherland India. We have to learn to respect and interact with other spiritual luminaries and try to strengthen the bond of universal brotherhood and love. Service to humanity in thought, word and action is a great virtue.
A meditator is neither a Hindu, nor Jain, nor Buddhist, nor a Christian, and nor Mohammedan but simply an inquirer into his subjectivity, the technique envisaged by spiritual masters, “Who am I? What is this life? – The moment he comes to know this life, he also comes to know all life, because it is the same. Then he sees life in animals, he sees life in trees, he sees life all around. The whole existence is alive, all people have the same potential but are not aware of it, are too much engaged in the outside world. The real religiousness is essentially meditation, awareness or consciousness. “Know thy self so that you can be yourself” and in being yourself you are fulfilled. You have known the eternal life, its beauty, its bliss. All that you can do is to share it.
By spiritual awakening, we are reinstated in our original constitutional position of the servitorship of the Lord. And that is the only way we can be happy, peaceful and full of knowledge.
We are the spirit soul. But due to contact with the material body, we think that we are a body. Once the consciousness is revived by spiritual awakening and we understand that we are eternal spirit soul- which is an integral part of Supreme Personality of God’s head, and act accordingly then there is peace and success. It happens so because it is our constitutional position and soul is full of knowledge, eternity and happiness. Once the soul is reinstated in its original constitutional position it feels all goodness. Fish without water is never happy like we are never happy in material consciousness, once in the water, fish is very lively-so once we are connected with Supreme being we feel lively all happy and peaceful.
“To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.”
To maintain a healthy lifestyle, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. Make the routine of doing regularly Pranayama, yoga, exercise (or morning walk), meditation and pranayama (Pranayama are yogic breathing exercises that have the ability to quickly increase our energy, release stress, improve our mental clarity, and improve our physical health). It gives positive energy & improves concentration, and our mind tells us to take the necessary steps to success & happiness.
Hence, Spiritual awakening plays a vital role in achieving positive thoughts which ultimately brings you closer to being a better and successful person in whatever you choose to do.
