“Do whatever is good to the heart, do not hold on to the desire of your mind, life has got one, open it open, life will not return again.”
In this world, nothing is permanent except God. Stop worrying about things you can’t change, let the time change it for you. Everything and everyone you know can change at any moment. Spiritual scriptures stress upon the awareness of the impermanence of this world. It also conveys the message of the sovereignty of the soul. Though the body is a perishable soul is deathless.
Everything that has a beginning in time must end in time. Spiritual masters say that whatever takes birth will have a death. Death can only come to something which is not eternal; that which is permanent can never die. Whether a person is a common native, great actors, great soldiers and great scientists, he must not fear to lose his life, name, fame, or wealth. Relationships, wealth and all other worldly objects are just temporary.
According to the Bhagavad Gita, the main reason why billions lead unhappy lives on the planet today, we are working only for wealth, a well home, a car, and for a secure future. We are so goal-driven, that we do everything only on thinking about the results. This is something we need to avoid. Only because, if expectations are not met, pain is inevitable. Therefore, keep working and don’t expect anything in return. “You have the right to work, but never to the fruit of the work. You should never engage in action for the sake of reward, nor should you long for inaction.”
A lot of us are looking at the result when we work. It is that work itself is more pleasurable than the results. Do not let the fruit be the purpose of your actions, and therefore you won’t be attached to not doing your duty. In other words, enjoy the pleasure of journey more than just the purpose. Great actors, great soldiers and great scientists do what they do because the process of conception itself is so enjoyable for them. When you watch these actors doing their work we would find the action itself is so glorious than anything the end could bring. The actions of a great man are an inspiration for others. Whatever he does become a standard for others to follow.
Nobody is faultless. We all make mistakes at some point in our lives. This is why it is important to forgive others when they do you wrong since you would want to be forgiven if you wronged someone else. While it is hard to forgive, without forgiveness life is governed by an endless cycle of resentment and retaliation. So do not be retaliatory and resentful. Build truthful, faithful relations with people around you, friends, family, colleagues, business partners, customers/clients, and associates. Spend time to know them better and develop stronger relations.
Your actual enemies are not other things or peoples, it is ego, anger, jealousy, lust and other related things. To forgive, you need to change your egoism towards the things or people that hurt you. You need to learn how to let go of any undesirable emotional state. You can heal your discomfort and soul by listening to spiritual speeches, songs, meditating, thinking about positive things or meeting spiritual or great persons. Jealousy is a destructive emotion. Don’t compare yourself with others. Jealousy is a symptom that indicates you are not happy in your life.
To err is human, to forgive, divine. He who cannot forgive breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass. Unless we begin to understand another’s personal situation or viewpoint, we cannot forgive that person. We do not have to agree with it, we just need to understand it. We need to walk in their shoes for a short time. This is challenging due to the fact we are not them! We do not possess their characteristics or attainment. But by learning to understand their side, we open the access to understanding. We may develop realistic expectations and build bridges for healthier relationships. “Without forgiveness, no relationships can be satisfying; no relationships can survive,”
It’s very important to respect everyone, elders as well as younger’s unrelatedly of the work they do, from the place they belong, etc. Especially your parents and teachers as they are the ones who have given your life and moulded you in such a beautiful way. Don’t choose your path in the life based on the expectations of anyone whether it is your parents, friends or relatives. Stop expecting others to behave in a certain way. Rather than demand that others around you change, focus on changing yourself. You’ll be happier and live a more fulfilling life this way.
He knows that as long as a man keeps his faith in God and in himself nothing can permanently defeat him. Many things are possible for the person who has hope. Even more is possible for the person who has faith. And still, more is possible for the person who knows how to love. But everything is possible for the person who practices all three virtues.
When you are contented, when you say yes to life and have fun and project positivity all around you, you become a sun in the centre of every group, and people want to be near you. Be Kind and Love All. Whatever you do, whatever you have you should be contented with that. Try to stay content always. Happiness is something which can’t be bought but can be made inside of your heart. You just need some necessities like positive emotions, low expectations etc. to organize it inside your heart.
Last but the most important one, spread your love and smile all around you so that where ever you go your appearance makes the place a happy and pleasing one. There is something to get from everything you see, hear and experience. This includes your faults and past adversities. Learn to interpret each event truthfully. Focus on what you can learn from it so that you can apply the lessons moving forward.
Don’t confuse your path with your destination. Just because it’s stormy now, doesn’t mean that you aren’t heading for sunshine.
Understand you are a very effective source of soul. Be the Light that helps others see.
“Life is fun, to struggle with… (……)……. Is life.”
